Students & families arriving by car to the International Peace Garden will be required to pay a $10.00 per car entrance fee. The enclosed gate pass will be stamped at the time you enter the Garden and is good for your return trip to pick up students at the end of their camp stay. You must have this pass with you in order to take advantage of this arrangement with the International Peace Garden.
US students coming by bus or train should book your tickets to Rugby, ND. Transportation is available to pick you up at the station in Rugby, and there is a $20.00 per person charge for pickup or for return.
Canadian students coming by bus should make connections to Boissevain or Brandon, MB. A camp van is available to pick you up at the stations in Boissevain or Brandon. There is a $15.00 (USD) charge for pickup or return to Boissevain and a $25.00 charge for pickup or return to Brandon.
Students traveling by bus or AMTRAK MUST make arrangements with the IMC Office for pickup at the station AT LEAST ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE. (This service is available for students arriving by bus or AMTRAK only--it is not a general shuttle).
Air transportation for US students should be through the Minot, ND airport, and Winnipeg for Canadians. Call the IMC office before booking flights. There is a $40.00 charge for pickup or return to Minot and $50.00 to or from Winnipeg. (This service is available for students arriving by air only--it is not a general shuttle).
In order to initiate this process you must call the IMC office at 701-263-4211 to make arrangements.
