International Music Camp announces 55th season with new Web site, scholarship giveaways and worldwide challenge

The International Music Camp (IMC), a summer school of fine arts located near the International Peace Gardens on the United States and Canadian border, announced its 55th season today along with the launch of a new Web site and a worldwide challenge. The event took place at Cheney Middle School located in West Fargo, North Dakota.
"We're excited to celebrate our 55th season and thought a challenge incorporating our new Web site would be a fun way to kick it off," said IMC Director, Tim Wollenzien.
The challenge encourages interested students -regionally and worldwide- to register on the Web site, www.internationalmusiccamp.com, for the chance to win a full scholarship to a week-long session during the camp's 2010 season. The scholarship has a value of $345 USD and includes room and board plus tuition to most sessions. A deadline date of Wednesday, February 10 at 11:59 p.m. has been set. The winner will be announced on the Web site and Facebook on Monday, February 15.
"We chose to make our announcement here at Cheney to thank the students for being such enthusiastic campers. Cheney Middle School sent more campers to International Music Camp in 2009 than other school in the state," said Wollenzien. "We were even more excited to be able to give away a full scholarship to one of the great students here today."
Cheney Middle School student, Landon Holmstrom received the full week camp scholarship. "I knew there was an exciting announcement taking place today but I didn't expect this!"
