Cartooning
CARTOONING I - This class will focus on the art of the comic strip design. Students will learn the basics of developing, drawing and writing their own cast of comic characters. Line drawing and color theory will be emphasized. This class is for students ages 13 to adult with basic drawing experience.
CARTOONING II - This class will deal with further exploration of cartoon drawing and techniques on an individual basis. Students are encouraged to have their characters developed prior to class. This class is for students and adults who have completed the Cartooning I class. The Cartooning II class deals with ongoing skills and encourages student participation for more than one season.
(There will be an additional supply fee.)
Faculty
(SPECIAL NOTE: Participants will be required to purchase an "art kit" for this program. The instructor has selected specific materials and supplies necessary for this class. A kit will be ordered for you following your registration, and will be waiting for you when you arrive at IMC. The "art kit" is yours to keep after camp ends!)
