World Percussion

Participants in this one-week session will study the percussion music of West Africa, the Caribbean, South America, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Middle East.  Campers will receive in-depth technical and musical instruction from our expert artist-faculty.  The week will conclude with a showcase concert.  Percussionists as well as non-percussionists will gain a great deal from this exciting course.  World Percussion Session 6 is open to students who have completed grade 7-12 as well as adults.  Non-percussionists are welcome and some previous music experience is preferred.

All Instruments will be provided from the Matthew Miller Memorial World Percussion Collection. Click the link and scroll to #5 for more details.
