2022 COVID-19 Information

Due to the short term, residential, and international nature of the International Music Camp, the IMC Board of Directors has set the following required policies for the 2022 Season*:

1. All faculty, staff, and volunteers working for the International Music Camp must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before arriving at the International Music Camp.  Details regarding accommodations will be finalized in the near future and will be posted here.  They are being developed in accordance to OSHA’s COVID-19 Vaccination Emergency Temporary Standard published 11/4/21 and other applicable federal or state law requirements.

2. All campers ages 18 and older and all campers not from the US and Canada must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before arriving at the International Music Camp.  Requests for exceptions to this rule due to medical reasons will be considered on a case by case basis. If a vaccinated camper tests positive, they will be immediately quarantined and required to leave camp property ASAP.  Refunds will not be given for campers who have to leave mid-session.  Campers who are fully vaccinated before they arrive at IMC will not need to participate in surveillance testing for COVID-19, and will only be tested if they are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.

3. All campers under the age of 18 from the US and Canada are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before arriving at IMC.  Campers who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to be tested for COVID-19 upon arrival, and must participate in surveillance testing throughout their time at camp.  If any positive test results are found during a session of camp, all unvaccinated individuals on camp will be immediately quarantined and required to leave camp property ASAP.

4. Masking policies and other COVID-19 mitigation strategies will be finalized closer to June 2022 and will be published here.
