Filmmaking

Filmmaking introduces campers (grades 7-12) to the fundamentals of creating a film from concept to final edit. Campers will explore screenwriting, camera operation, composition, lighting, sound, directing, production planning, and editing while working together to create an original short film. By the end of the week, students will have experienced the complete filmmaking process and developed the skills needed to begin creating their own film and video projects.

There is an additional supply fee of $35 that will be used to cover each student’s filmmaking workbook and production materials, writing supplies, a USB drive for project files, and other consumable materials used throughout the week. All camera, lighting, sound, and production equipment will be provided by the instructor. The fee is included in your registration fee.
