Audio Technology will feature applications of live audio, field recording, home-studio recording, and producing recordings for CD or digital distribution. In Audio Technology, campers will take advantage of their surroundings and find opportunities to work with the various performing ensembles at the camp, as well as using various pieces of software to create their own music in the studio. If you would like to learn how to navigate a sound board, set up microphones and speakers, or record your local garage band, the Audio Technology program is for you! A $25 fee is included in the registration fee to cover the use of specialized camp owned equipment. Professional Development is available for this class.
If you have questions about the camp and what kind of hardware or software you can bring with you to camp, please contact the International Music Camp office or Audio Tech instructor, Dr. Kyle Vanderburg at kyle@noteforge.com.
