Garage Band is offered during Session 3 and will take rock & roll musicians to new levels of performance! Campers will spend the week studying instrumental techniques from our staff of artist-teachers, exploring how to make the best use of electronic technology in a musical group, marketing and promoting a garage band, learning music theory and ear-training, practicing small-group rehearsal and performance techniques in various rock styles, and writing and producing your own songs. Performances will take place Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
It is recommended that you have some experience on your instrument. Campers are expected to bring their own instruments and amps. A $30 fee is included in the registration fee to cover the use of specialized camp owned equipment. This class is open to students who have completed grades 8 through 12. Enrollment in Garage Band session will fill quickly. If you play more than one instrument, please indicate that on your registration!
