Participants in this one-week session will study the percussion music of West Africa, the Caribbean, South America, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Middle East. Campers will receive in-depth technical and musical instruction from our expert artist-faculty. The week will conclude with a showcase concert. Percussionists as well as non-percussionists will gain a great deal from this exciting course. World Percussion Session 6 is open to students who have completed grade 7-12 as well as adults. Non-percussionists are welcome and some previous music experience is preferred.
